Lensare V3
Development has started to create a more advanced prototype. This is Lensare V3.
Lensare V3 will be a big step up in terms of functionality and bringing the idea one step closer to commercialisation.
Advanced Light Detection
Lensare V3 will feature 3 light sensors (1 more from previous models). One sensor facing forward, and others facing outwards.
These advanced sensors in this layout have the ability to analyse the entire visual spectrum of light (all light colours) directly in front of and in the wearer's peripheral vision enabling more reliable and consistent flash detection.
Adaptive Detection and Response
Lensare prototypes use custom flash detection algorithms to detect potential light triggers. Along with this, Lensare V3 will also include "Environmental Change Detection".
This feature is aimed at detecting any one off significant change in lighting conditions and bridging that gap by slowly adjusting the tint of the lenses.
Design Optimisation
Lensare V3 will feature a curved frame to minimise light leaking through the sides of the glasses.
Lensare V3 will also feature custom PCB's specialised for this application.
